Water makes your skin look fresh and healthy

Medical studies show that drinking water regularly increases the skin's elasticity, which reduces the appearance of wrinkles, puffy skin, acne, and even stretch marks.

Water aids weight loss

Every weight loss expert would tell you that water has a significant effect on weight loss in both men and women. It regulates the appetite, which in turn reduces the number of calories you take into the body. It has also been shown to reduce muscle fatigue and tiredness during exercise.

Increases your energy and relieves fatigue

This might seem impossible, but drinking water has been shown to increase the energy levels in the body. A study that was carried out showed that the participants-both male and female- experienced a 30% boost in their metabolism over a period of one hour.  

Maintains the body's digestive system 

Toxins such as urea and stool are harmful to our body, and are removed from our system by water. Water is also an important part of digestion: it produces saliva which breaks down food particles, carries nutrients to different organs in the body, and prevents digestive problems such as acid reflux, constipation, heartburn, and stomach ulcers. 

It regulates body temperature 

Water is essential in maintaining the body temperature especially for people who live in hotter climates. When we lose water through sweat, we risk becoming dehydrated, which can lead to a reduction in concentration, and in severe cases can lead to delusion. Drinking water at regular intervals during the day is key in preventing the loss of too much water from our body.
